If elected, he better make good on it.

I never put political opinions in my blog, and I won't say whether I'm for or against Obama here, but, as this blog is solely a complaint about gas prices, this is completely relevant.

In truth, I'm happy with none of the candidates energy policies, for they aren't aggressive enough. I'd love to see America be completely energy independent, where we can all run our AC's all summer long and cheaply too. We all desire to be able to drive around for a week without spending money that could buy every major DVD release in a week, watching them in Air Conditioned comfort. These are non-partisan positions, and things most Americans would want, I hope.

So, even if Barak Obama's little campaign promise sounds like a band-aid on a severed limb, at least he's acknowledging there's a bleeding wound.
